Faculty Speaker Series

Join us on Monday, April 6, at 11 a.m. in the Regina Library where Dr. Harwood will present on misconceptions around mental illness and how they continue to contribute to public stigma. Negative stereotypes can lead to lower prioritization of public health funding, poorer quality of healthcare, and social isolation. Dr. Harwood’s presentation will challenge these common myths and provide examples of how to support and advocate for healthier communities.
