鶹ýӳ ranked #1 in the state and top tier in the nation for nursing

The University has received top rankings for its nursing programs, including #1 Nursing School in New Hampshire.

Following a comprehensive evaluation of U.S. nursing schools for 2022, Nursing Schools Almanac ranked and . Rivier also ranks among private nursing schools.

“Rivier is gratified to learn of the University’s exceptional national, regional, and state rankings for nursing,” says Sister Paula Marie Buley, IHM, Rivier’s President. “This further demonstrates the transformational nature of a Rivier education and the outstanding nursing faculty and curriculum that students experience.”

Nursing Schools Almanac assessed 3,000 schools on : academic prestige and perceived value, breadth and depth of nursing programs offered, and student success, particularly on the NCLEX licensure examination. Rivier Bachelor of Science in Nursing students achieved an NCLEX first-time pass rate of 92% in 2021, far exceeding the national average of 82%.

The University’s nursing labs were recently transformed with a $5 million total renovation. The Nursing Simulation and Clinical Education Center is open and fully operational for hands-on learning and high-tech simulation for nurses and nurse practitioners. State-of-the-art skills and simulation labs offer the newest technology for clinical assessment, community nursing, and telehealth simulation.

“Our new Nursing Simulation and Clinical Education Center has elevated the quality of nursing education and patient care,” shares Dr. Paula Williams, Dean of the Division of Nursing and Health Professions. “The Center is equipped with high-fidelity simulators and state-of-the-art technology that allow students to gain real-world experience in controlled clinical settings.”
