Alumni are invited to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rivier.edu\/alumni\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2019\/06\/SrMadeleineNom14.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">submit nominations<\/a> for this prestigious award by February 1 of each year. The award is presented at Alumni Reunion Weekend in September. The award is presented to a Rivier alumna or alumnus who has distinguished herself or himself through:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exceptional dedication and contribution to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding service to his or her community and profession<\/li>\n<li>Significant civic, professional, or humanitarian efforts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Alumni Achievement Awards<\/h2>\n<p>The following awards are presented to outstanding alumni who have utilized their Rivier education to make a difference in their profession and have maintained a continued connection with their alma mater. Please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rivier.edu\/alumni\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2019\/06\/Alumni-Awards-Nomination-Form_REV_0516_USE.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">submit nominations<\/a> each year before February 1. Recipients will be recognized in the Spring issue of <em>Rivier Today<\/em>, the University&#8217;s magazine, in June.<\/p>\n<h3>Outstanding Educator Award<\/h3>\n<p>This award recognizes a Rivier graduate working in the field of education who has demonstrated a commitment to teaching excellence and distinguished himself\/herself by fostering an exceptional educational environment as a classroom teacher, counselor, administrator, or education advocate.<\/p>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-292\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rivier.edu\/alumni\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2019\/06\/Alumni-Award-1-980x686.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"299\" height=\"209\" \/>Outstanding Nurse\/Healthcare Professional Award<\/h3>\n<p>This award recognizes a Rivier graduate working as a nurse or as a healthcare professional. This individual demonstrates a commitment to excellence and service to patients, as well as professional achievement in the healthcare profession.<\/p>\n<h3>Outstanding Business Professional\/Community Leader Award<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-293\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rivier.edu\/alumni\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2019\/06\/Alumni-Award-2-980x638.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"299\" height=\"195\" \/><\/h3>\n<p>This award recognizes a Rivier graduate who has distinguished himself\/herself as a business or community leader. The individual demonstrates a commitment to ethics in the workplace and a commitment to excellence demonstrated by achievement within his\/her profession or industry.<\/p>\n<h3>Outstanding Young Alumni Award<\/h3>\n<p>This award recognizes a Rivier graduate who graduated within the last ten years and has distinguished himself\/herself as a young professional within their profession or community.
