Michael Filippov, Ph.D.
Background
Dr. Michael Filippov has taught mathematics and computer science courses, both on campus and online, at 鶹ýӳ since 2016. Prior to joining Rivier, he taught statistics and algebra at Mount Washington College and Southern New Hampshire University for more than five years.
Dr. Filippov holds a degree in space physics and has worked as a researcher, as well as an educator teaching physics and mathematics to students ranging from middle school through college in several countries. His more than 20 years of professional experience in data analysis, database development, and data communications enrich his teaching, enabling him to provide students with practical insights into the real-world applications of computer science.
